Course Evaluation

How well is the course organised? 2 The course so far seems to be quiet organized however im not satisfied with the course as i feel that last years media students had more of a variety to choose from for their production.

How interesting is the content that is covered?-3 so far the content that has been covered has been significant but not very interesting because at the moment we just gathering information we haven't got to the actual practical yet.

How useful are the handouts?2 handouts have been useful to a certain extent however i think we need more of them.

Have the lessons been well-paced? 3 yes but at times i feel that we could have more discussions rather than written work.

What is the standard of the teachers’ presentation/subject knowledge?1- The Media teachers seem to have loads of knowledge and they know what they are talking about.

How well has the course met your expectations?-4 It has not met my expectations because i thought we would have more discussions and less writing going on.

Have the extra-curricular events been useful?1 Yes the media awards were very useful because it motivated me to make my production to top standards.

Has the Macguffin Blog been useful? 3 im still getting use to it.

Self Evaluation

Attainment-2

Effort-3 This is because i feel that i do contribute in most lessons however i don't think i have worked to my maximum ability.

Punctuality-2 i have attented most of my media lessons but i may have missed one or two.

Submission and quality of homework- 3 Although i do most of the homework i hardly ever make it to the quality that i know i can produce.

Ability to work independently-2 I can work quiet well independantly however at times i can get easily distracted.

Quality of writing-2

Organisation of Media folder-3 Although i do have a media folder i tend to forget pieces of work at home sometimes which does get frustrating for the teacher.

Oral contributions in class-1 I will always put my hand up and have something to say.
